Carlson Heat Exchanger Fluid to Fluid Sizing Calculator

This calculator will help determine which exchanger has enough heat transfer capacity for your system.

Usage:
When BTU requirement is known (most applications):
- enter the BTU requirement
- Temp In, Temp Out, and GPM are shaded for Hot and Cold
- enter two of the three shaded portions for Hot
- enter two of the three shaded portions for Cold
- enter Specific Heat & Specific Gravity for both Hot & Cold

When BTU requirement is not known (specific fluid conditions):
- Temp In, Temp Out, and GPM are shaded for Hot and Cold
- enter all three shaded portions for either Hot or Cold
- enter two of the three shaded portions for the other
- enter Specific Heat & Specific Gravity for both Hot & Cold
